      Iowa Watershed Protection Fund (WSPF)

          * Up to 65% cost-share

          * Maximum Amount - $7,500.00

          * 20-year maintenance agreement

          * Application Ranking Process

          * Mostly used for Terraces or Water Sediment Control Basins 

          *  West Tarkio Watershed Priority Area only

     Iowa Water Protection Fund (REAP)

     * Mostly used for Farmstead Windbreaks, Field Windbreaks, Timber Stand Improvements, Tree Plantings, etc.

          *  Terrace projects in Pierce Creek and Neely Creek Priority Areas.

          Low-Interest Loan Program

       * Loans from $5,000 to $50,000

       * Terms up to 10 years

       * Interest rate of 3% or less.

Federal Cost-Share

          Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP)

     *  Ranked Application Process

        *   Wide range of practices and management systems.

       * Contracting Allows Multi-year payment

          Conservation Security Program (CSP)

          *  Rewards farmers for outstanding conservation work in selected watersheds.

          *  East Nishnabotna is the only one for Page County at this time.

     Mill Creek PL-566 Watershed

          *  First Come-First Serve Application Process

       *  Cost-Share for Terraces and Water Sediment Control Basins

       *  65% Cost-Share

       *  Contracts allow Cost-Share to be reserved for large multi-year contracts.
